Version 2: Updated with new portrait for Skids
These took forever to draw! Coming up with designs that I was happy with for Glyph and Jetfire was a challenge.
The staff members stationed at Prime's version of the Kimia Science Facility from IDW's comics. I originally wanted to add in some of the Technobots, Chromwdome, Brainstorm, Rewind, and Trailbreaker, but narrowed it down to these seven.
______________________________
Hoist - A jolly, friendly medical researcher, Hoist genuinely enjoys his job and likes to joke around with his friend, Grapple, on his time off. Autobots stationed at the facility also report to him for routine check-ups and maintenance, and Hoist makes sure that no one skips out, not even Perceptor, who always claims to be too busy. Although Hoist is very peaceful, he is surprisingly strong, capable of lifting heavy loads with ease.
Was a prominent actor in his youth before finding his true calling in life prior to the Great War
Younger cousin of fellow staff member Trailbreaker
Can serve as a backup maintenance technician if any structural repairs need to be made in an emergency
Alternate Mode: 2012 Ford F-150 XL
Ironfist - The most prominent weapons engineer that the Autobots have, Ironfist believes that there is no greater work of art than an ingenious piece of weaponry. Although his designs are brilliant, he sometimes gets in trouble with the Autobot Ethics Committee. In datanet circles, Ironfist is known by his user-name Fisitron, and is a huge fan of the Wreckers. Ironfist dreams of joining the Wreckers some day and helping them with his scientific contributions.
Clutters his office with all the Wreckers merchandise that he owns
Tends to make excessively violent weapons, but he means well
Dreads the Autobot Ethics Committee
Alternate Mode: 2010 Hummer H3 Aplha
Jetfire - Jetfire is an adept engineer and physicist that was a Decepticon during Megatron's rise to power near the end of Cybertron's Golden Age. Some Autobots don't trust Jetfire because of his past, but he is compassionate and defected upon learning of the horrific things that Megatron had done as the war progressed. Jetfire deeply despises Starscream and believes that in war, the side with the most technological advancements will be the victor.
One of the few scientists stationed at the facility that is able to engage in heavy combat
Originally was a Decepticon guardian, like Skyquake
Kept his old war armor and boosters from his days as a Decepticon
Alternate Mode: NASA Dryden NF-15 Research Aircraft
Skids - Often found daydreaming while wandering the facility, Autobots usually forget that Skids, the theoritician, even exists. Aside from theoretical work, Skids also dabbles in physics and also has an enormous memory storage capacity. Skids is currently studying "Dimension Slide" particles and believes that he can utilize them to replicate a process similar to personal teleportation. Ironfist thinks that he's just plain crazy.
Fantasizes about being a super hero, naming himself "Screech"
"Dimension Slide" particles slow down nearby projectiles, allowing him to safely dodge attacks
Is still trying to figure out how to safely travel between dimensions with "Dimension Slide" particles
Alternate Mode: 2012 Honda Civic
Perceptor - Head of the Kimia Science and Technology Facility, Perceptor oversees all operations and personally meets with the facility's chief financer, Emirate Xaaron, and the Autobot Ethics Committee. Although his specialty lies in chemistry and electrical engineering, his thirst for knowledge has made him a sort of scientific jack-of-all-trades. Perceptor is emotionally detached and socially inept, but he is very loyal and kind to his colleagues.
Doesn't enjoy being touched and always tries to avoid Hoist's mandatory check-ups.
Has altered his optics and aiming arm stabilizers to become adept at handling firearms
Is very good friends with Wheeljack
Alternate Mode: 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8
Glyph - Glyph is an expert in data decryption, languages, and forensic science. She has an eye for detail and her desire to learn more about alien cultures and their history make her a well respected archaeometrist in her field of study. Glyph was very close to the late Tailgate, and as such, blames Arcee for her friend's death and never forgave her. Tailgate's death had a profound impact on Glyph, making it difficult for her to interact with her colleagues since she now likes to remain emotionally distant.
Enjoys programming and developing applications in her spare time
Full spectrum lights and filters on her chest help her locate and date artifacts at excavation sites
Is not fond of loud noises and explosions
Alternate Mode: Custom 2012 Smart Fortwo Cabriolet
Swerve - Able to analyze the physical and chemical properties of metals with special sensors in his hand, Swerve acts as the facility's resident metallurgist. Despite his intelligence, he's easily distracted by anything that catches his attention and becomes single minded when he begins solving any problem. He's a very accident-prone driver that is a menace to anyone on the road and is constantly in need of Hoist's repairs.
Has a retractable visor for protection when handling metals and volatile chemicals
Constant exposure to toxic chemicals contribute to his damaged circuits, the cause of his lack of attention and clumsiness
His terrible aim scares Ironfist
Alternate Mode: 2011 Buick LaCrosse

Love what you did to Glyph. Great Job.
